Just a reminder to Nominate for the 2021 Gold Rush LC Transition Meet to be held Saturday 30th
October in Gympie.
Nominations close 11.59 pm Tuesday 19th October 2021.
All nominations are through the online entry system Swim Central.
AM Junior Session: 7 & Under – 11 Years Warm Up 7.00am, Meet starts – 8.00am
PM Senior Session: 12 & Over, Start Time will be advised once entries have closed and time line
finalised.
There will be Medals & AGE Champion Awards plus cash prizes for fastest swimmers Senior Session.

Nominations: Nominations Open September 19th 2021
8 years and older $7.00 per event
7 years and younger $3.50 per event
Closing Date: 11.59pm Tuesday October 19th, 2021.
Refund: No refunds will be given for withdrawal from the meet unless due to medical s reasons Incomplete or late entries will not be Accepted. No Monies will be returned for incorrect nominations.
Age: Age as of day of the meet 30th October 2021
Rules: Meet is run in accordance with SAL/SQ Rules. Junior rule tolerance will only apply to 7 & under events.
Eligibility: Open to all swimmers registered as competitive swimmer with Swimming QLD.
Self Marshalling: Self-marshalling will take place in the allocated self-marshalling area on the venue map. Venue map. Competitors should be in the marshalling area at least 4 HEATS prior to the heat in the water. Check starters will be present to assist swimmers if required.
Timing: Semi-automatic timing using Dolphin Timing System, timekeepers will be required per club. A
Timekeeping roster will be supplied once nominations have closed.
Wet Weather: In the event of inclement weather, the Meet director and Chief Referee
Policy: may cancel the meet. In the event of cancellation, there will be no refunds.
Photos: In nominating for this Meet, Swimmers agree that they may be photographed by Club approved photographers and images may be used by the club on their website and social media pages.
Programs: The Meet Program and Timeline will be emailed and on our website by Thursday 28th October 2021. No programs will be available for sale on the day.
Pysch Sheets: Entry lists will be emailed out for checking to participating Swim Clubs after confirmation from Wide Bay Swimming. Please email any issues within 24 hours of receiving.

COVID Safe Meet Information: To comply with the Queensland Government regulations for the running of Meet a Covid safe event all nominees must agree to Swimming QLD COVID-19 Terms and Conditions of Entry and Attendance at Events. This meet will be run as per Swimming Queensland COVID-19 Club
Food: No BBQ will be available- The Aquatic Centre Café will be operating during the day.
Awards: Medals will be awarded for the first 3 place getters in each individual 50m, 100m, 200 IM, age EVENT from 8 yrs to 17yrs & over, and Multi Class. Medals will not be awarded for the 7 yrs & under events, however all 7yrs & under competitors will receive a participation award on the day.
Age Champions will be presented to each age group from 8 yrs to 17 and over & Multi Class. The highest points at the completion of the Session will be awarded Age Champion.
Points are awarded as follows:

In the event of a tie the swimmer with the fastest 50M freestyle time will be awarded Age Champion. Multi Class
Swimmers must compete in all 4 x 50m strokes Age Champions will be awarded to the swimmers with the highest points total using the above 6,3,1 point scoring system and based on the SQ Multi Class scoring l system, based on the MC events. Medals and Age Champion Awards will be handed out through the Meet, please collect before Session ends.
