The SCSC Presentation Night is the special night where all our amazing swimmers get to dress up, let their hair down and just have a great night out.
During the swimming year, competitors receive points for competing and beating their own PB’s (personal best) at club nights. Each swimmer collects points during the season and then they are tallied up and competitors receive trophies depending on the points level they have achieved.
Every swimmer has the opportunity to receive a trophy and this system really rewards effort throughout the season.
We also have other awards that are given to swimmers that meet other criteria, such as club spirit, outstanding achievements and encouragement awards.
We are very lucky to have many special guests attend our annual presentation nights and this year we thank the following guests who will be attending:

ORDER OF EVENTS
- Doors open at 5pm
- Team Photo 5.30pm at the venue – Don’t be late
- Then everyone will find a seat – sit with friends or make some new ones. Sit where you like other than the reserved table for the committee/special guests. Make sure you get a “free drink” ticket for each of your kids.
- Event kicks off at 6pm with a welcome speech from our President, Thomas Hoefel.
- Remember to bring some cash for tickets, however EFTPOS will also be available.
- Then we present the main, special awards, followed by some more raffles, the cutting of the cake and what the kids really want – some hip music and dancing.
- Drinks at bar prices.

The Dennis Longley Memorial Trophy | Diane and Tina Longley | In recognition of outstanding participation & contribution to swimming. It can be received by a swimmer 13 years & over, who has been a member of the Club for the full season. |
The Coach’s Awards | Coaches | To be awarded at the coach's discretion. |
The Jayden Hadler “Rising Star” Award | Club | Junior Rising Star award. This award can be received by a swimmer 12 years & under, who has been a member of the Club for the full season. |
Award | Club | A swimmer who embodies the spirit of the Club, friendship, support and role models a commitment to swimming training and club representation. |
Petrie Shield The Award consists of two individual awards: Junior & Senior | Mr Luke Howarth MP, Federal Member for Petrie | Named after Andrew Petrie, a local builder, explorer & pioneer, after whom this electorate is named. Petrie was a hard worker & the first white man to climb Mt Beerwah. He eventually lost his eyesight, yet continued to run his construction business. Today his legacy can still be seen in many of the buildings and foundations around the Moreton Bay region. They are his legacy not just because he built them but because he inspired & helped others to discover their strengths. |
