October 31st 2021 Transition Meet
** Coaches will not be attending this meet **
This Meet has been sanctioned by Brisbane Swimming Association and times swum will be
recognised as official Qualifying Times for Brisbane Meets.
Date: Sunday 31st October 2021
Venue: Colmslie Aquatic Centre, 400 Lytton Rd, Morningside
Times: Junior Events Warm-up: 1.30 pm
Competition: 2.00 pm
Senior Events Warm-Up: Not before 3.30 and will be confirmed once nominations are
closed and thetimeline is finalised.
Age: Age as at 31st October 2021.
Eligibility: Entry is open to Swimming Queensland “Competitive” registered swimmers, who are
members of an affiliated club with Swimming Queensland.
MC Swimmers welcome and will be seeded according to Age and Time.
Events: As per attached Program of Events. All events to be swum as timed Finals. The Referee
decision will be final and the Referee has the right to combine heats and events on the
day.
Self-marshalling will be in place for this meet
Entries: Maximum of 5 Events per swimmer.
Entry Close date: Individual Entries to be done via Swim Central. Online Entries will close midday Monday 25th October 2021
Nomination fee: $7.00 per individual event. A 2.5% system fee, and then a 1.5% transaction fee will be applied in the shopping trolley.
Spectator Entry Fee: $5 per family and will include a printed copy of the program.
Meet programs: A printed version of the program will be included in the spectator entry fee.
Timekeeping: All clubs competiting are asked to provide timekeepers based on the number of nominated swimmers. A time keeping roster will be emailed closer to the meet date
COVID Safe: In order to comply with Queensland Government regulations for the running of COVIDSafe Events, all nominees must comfirm they agree to the below: COVID-19 Terms and Conditions. All visitiors to the meet, including swimmers, will be required to also follow the Colsmlie Pool COVID-Safe procedures as displayed in signage around the pool.
General: The indoor pool will be closed for public swimmers. The Children’s splash pool is out of
bounds for the duration of the meet.
